Crisil Foundation wanted to launch a portal educating their employees about Crisil RE, mission and vision behind the entire initiative and about the year long employee volunteering program they have planned under this initiative. Brief was simple: "More and more employees should feel compelled to participate"
We were looking for a single solution which can resolve following questions:
How can we inspire a wider participation and not just attract only few employees.
How should we sustain the enthusiasm and involvement over the period of time.
Sustaining the enthusiasm and involvement over the period of time.
We designed an intranet portal, which highlighted the central theme of the campaign ‘Change What You Don’t Like. Re–Imagine. Re–Invent. Re–Fresh.’ via thought provoking images and content.
Portal showcased the entire vision and mission of the campaign, along with the year-long activity Crisil RE would be executing under this initiative.
To compel users to participate, we strategically designed the portal allowing Crisil RE to showcase the current situation of the environment, how it is affecting the people around it and how employees can change this via images, texts, videos, and info graphs.
To participate, all the employees have to do was to register themselves with just one click. The event would automatically get added in their calendars and all the details about the program along with the contact details of the activity supervisor was emailed to them.
A ‘Rewards and Recognition’ program was incorporated, which offered bonus points to employees who got their friends/peers for the program.
Portal also allowed employees to add the total number of hours they served for a particular activity, to see updates from other employees, status on the activity they have participated in, how much they have contributed towards the change etc.
A robust back-end was designed which allowed Crisil RE to manage all the content at the back- end, set the number of participants for each activity, send emailers, verify employees’ participation at the backend etc.
Portal received raving reviews from the internal employees during the launch party.
100% seats were registered within 2 hours of the launch of the portal.
Employee engagement increased by 30-40%.
Crisil RE continues to receive overwhelming responses in terms of hits and participations for various activities on the portal.
